Top Ten Tuesday (TTT) created by The Broke and the Bookish is an original feature/weekly meme in which any one who participates must talk about their top ten books. This weeks topic is ‘Top Ten Books on my Fall or Autumn (for the Brits) TBR (To Be Read)’.

On with the list….
1. Haruki Murakami book’s, Norwegian Wood and IQ84
Technically this list will have 11 books but I’m counting this as one.
I haven’t read anything set in Tokyo and I want to explore more literature set in any part of East Asia. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
2. The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
(Synopsis) I’ve picked up this book so many times and I haven’t gotten that far into it. Not that its bad, or boring, its the font that’s annoying. What a stupid reason, I know but when I’m reading, my mind wanders. I wish I’d bought this on Kindle.
3. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
(Synopsis) I bought this book years ago but never felt the urge to read it. I want to know why people rave about it so much.
4. The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
(Synopsis) I love stories like this. They’re so fun and exciting.
5. More Than This by Patrick Ness
(Synopsis) The only Patrick Ness book I’ve read is ‘A Monster Call’s’ but even that wasn’t his original idea. I want to read something that’s entirely his own.
That cover makes my eyes hurt but its so strange that its got me intrigued.
I want to read something written by Kafka. Every year I try to read as many books as I can from as many authors as I can. And I’m reading glad to have done so, as I truly appreciate their styles of story telling and I’m learning so much. Its giving me confidence to write and reassurance that my style isn’t flawed, my story might be.
8. Red Rising by Pierce Brown
(Synopsis) I think I’d really like this. Secrets, lies, taking down oppressors. More importantly its set on Mars.
(Synopsis) I love this idea so much, I wish I had written it.
Writing this list is making me wish I could read all of these in one sitting. Realistically I think I could read maybe three books within Autumn. Even though these are the books I’m most excited to read, sometimes I’m just not in the mood for that story.
Please comment below, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this list.
Anyway thank you for reading, hope you’re having a great day.
Shoot! I forgot to add Final Empire to mine!!!!!!
